IDEAL kitchens was the contractor tasked with creating the space within this commercial development for a top of the range orthodontics practice – including 8 dental stations, a staff kitchen, custom interior ceiling suspenders, a 4-meter receptionist counter, brushing station, sterilisation station and office desks for the entire floor.

The dental stations featured ceasorstone tops, basin, computer-monitor, rolling 5-drawer cabinet, dental-suction equipment and a custom ash-wood wooden bench. All the stationary cabinetry has custom aluminium kick-plate for a sterile environment throughout the entire practice.

The custom designed dental benches are manufactured in-house as a steel frame with American ash-wood slats, treated with mono-coat oil for an amazing grey-coloured finish.

The most challenging aspect of this project was definitely the receptionist counter – a bent dual-counter level U-shaped counter with ceasorstone tops and ash-wood decorative slats. Folk-stone grey coloured 5-drawer cabinets and black-coloured kick-plate all around.

The staff kitchen with wall units and a dual sink – Folk-stone grey melamine and aluminium kick-plates. An amazing custom designed veneer-wood staff locker and veneer-wood full-length benches were added to the kitchen for the staff’s convenience. The appeal if the Sky-grey mono-coat treatment on the veneer-wood surfaces is sweet to the touch and definitely an attention grabber.
